Dear valued customer,

It has been brought to our attention that there are a team of confidence tricksters visiting some of our clients claiming to work for Local Surveys Ltd.

The scammers are approaching properties where roof coating work has been completed saying that they are part
of our installation team and that they “need to check the roof to sign off the guarantee”.

They then go up a ladder onto the roof and damage it in some way (eg. by removing a couple of tiles and tearing
the some of the felt), after which they approach the homeowner and claim that the work has not been completed
correctly and that the homeowner “must pay them more money to rectify it otherwise the job will not be signed off and the guarantee will not be valid”.

Below are video captures from one of our customer’s Ring Doorbell footage. If this man approaches you contact the police immediately! He does not work for us! He is a scammer! The only person authorised to take balance payments on behalf of Local Surveys Ltd is Peter (unless you have been told otherwise by Peter that you may pay our installers). Peter is also the only person who decides whether your guarantee can be
issued. If any other person approaches you after your work has been completed and asks you for more money, or if you are in any doubt, please call us for verification.
